A Little Bit About Me…

Hello! My name is Emma and I’m the sole owner and operator at “The Cake is a Lie Bakery.” We specialize in gourmet cookies and have several options for any craving. I created my cottage foods bakery in hopes that one day I can open my very own storefront. I’ve loved baking since I was a little girl learning the basics in the kitchen with my mom. When my medical problems started getting worse, I decided it was time to find an alternative source of income outside my day job to ensure I could pay my medical bills. Since then, my business has given me the freedom to get the treatment I need for my condition and live a relatively normal life. I love the look of joy in people’s eyes when they taste one of my cookies for the first time. My passion for baking, desire to be an entrepreneur, and support from family and friends is what encouraged me to take that vital first step. I hope you find as much joy eating those cookies as I do making them.
